Who are our beneficiaries? |

The terms "Users" or "Beneficiaries" (used interchangeably) refer to persons who have, either once or more times, received some kind of material assistance or service (i.e. information, counsel, course attendance, transportation with special vehicle, stayed in Leunberg Home, etc) within EHO projects. In 2004 EHO had 80.777 beneficiaries. Categories | Why? | | • Socialy vulnerable population: the elderly, the ill, pensioners, the unemployed, refugees and IDPs, etc. | • From 25-32 % population of our country is poor or extremely poor. | | • Marginalized social groups: Roma, people with disabilities, people living with HIV/AIDS. | • Their basic human rights are being violated. | | • Healthcare & Social Welfare Institutions: hospitals, children's and homes for the elderly, primary healthcare units, social welfare centres, etc. sl. | • The population's greatest fear today is that 'we'll get ill and have neither money nor means of treatment.' | | • Children & Youth: | • Once out of school, children and young people of today are mostly left on their own or they turn to street life. | Most of these categories often overlap and people they relate to have multiple social and economical problems.
