 Social Inclusion and Improvement of Housing in Roma Settlements in AP Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia

EHO RRC and local Roma jointly improve 80 houses in urug |
|
During 2010 Roma from Čurug and EHO RRC shall jointly built 60 septic tanks, 70 new functional bathrooms and make urgent repairs in 80 houses.
The project is based on the Particiaptory Model “Sustainable reconstruction of Roma Settlements”, authored by EHO RRC and HEKS/Switzerland.
EHO RRC has provided 16 miliona dinars for direct investments. Roma shall invest additional 5 milion dinars through used and new construction materials and work. For more info and pictures please click on "Read more below" ... |

EHO winner of Eurodiaconia Award for 2010 |
 EHO "Social Inclusion and Improvements in Living Conditions in 2 Roma Settlements in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia", will receive the 2010 Eurodiaconia Award.
The committee particularly appreciated the big impact made on tackling social exclusion and poverty for a very vulnerable group, the impact on a number of actors and its transferability.
