New Director of the EHO elected
(November 24th 2009)
It is our pleasure to inform you that on November 21st, 2009, the Assembly of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization elected Mgr. Vladislav Iviciak to be the new Director. Mgr. Iviciak is currently the Pastor of the Evangelical Protestant congregation in Belgrade, the joint congregation of the Slovak Evangelical Church of Augsburg Confession  and the Reformed Christian Church in Serbia.
Mgr. Iviciak is very well qualified for this position both in terms of his education and his experience as a pastor. The staff of EHO was happy to support his nomination because of his positive attitude towards ecumenism, his understanding of the context of our work in Vojvodina, and his experience of living and working in foreign countries. We consider him a worthy successor to our first Director, Karoly Beres.
Over the years we have developed our programme on the strong support of our partners and we hope that they will offer Mgr. Iviciak that same support as he guides EHO into the next phase of our work. On behalf of the staff, we look forward to welcoming Mgr. Iviciak to EHO and to working closely with him in the future.
