Humanitarian action "Walk For Life 2010" |
Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization and Elementary School "Petefi Sandor" from Novi Sad shall organize 5th humanitarian annual event "Walk For Life" on 22 May 2010 (Saturday) in Novi Sad.
This unique event is intended to focus public awareness on: (i) importance of prevention and early diagnosis of cancer among children and youth and (ii) importance of education of children about healthy lifestyle.
Donations collected during event are going to "CancerInfo" - EHO Informative Centre for Cancer Patients in Novi Sad.

AIDS Victims Memorial Day |

EHO Resource Centre for PLHIV (the Red Line Centre) has organized the public event "AIDS Victims Memorial Day" to support population living with HIV infection on 16 May 2010 in Zmaj Jovina Street in the Novi Sad downtown. The gathering place will be set up with a wide red ribbon and candles to be lit in memory of AIDS victims. The venue will have stands with promo/educational material and our volunteers will be available to talk and share information with interested people. The event is a part of a broader campaign entitled "If You Risk Get Yourself Tested - Better to Know!" supported by Serbian Ministry of Health. Other related organizations and institutions will also take part in this event. |

US Ambassador visited EHO |

 U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Ms Mary Warlick and Ms Bianca Menendez (Political Officer) visited Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization in Novi Sad on Thursday, May 6. This was their first visit to our organization. Our guests met EHO staff and beneficiaries and visited our programs and projects.
