Picture exhbition and "Urban Desert" film premiere

The premiere of the film "Urban Desert" about children from socially vulnerable families living in substandard settlements on the territory of the city of Novi Sad was held at the Novi Sad Children's Cultural Center (NSDKC), Cultural center "Mlin".
The premieres of this unusual film by Marko Vejinović, which is part of the project "Field work with children involved in life and / or street work" organized by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) from Novi Sad, were attended primarily by children who participatred in film realization. Among those present were representatives of the Center for Social Work, prominent associates from Novi Sad primary schools, the police association "Dr Rudolf Arčibald Rajs" and many others who gave their direct contribution to this project.
Also, an exhibition of children's drawings was organized, entitled "Life from our perspective", which will be open to the public until October 30.
The participants were greeted by Vedrana Bjelajac, coordinator of the project "Field work with children involved in life and / or street work" and briefly presented the project activities, and above all welcomed and thanked all those present, as well as the hosts of this event, Novi Sad Children's cultural center and director Aleksandra Lukić.
Her address was followed by a presentation by the director of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, Anna Brtka Valent, who said something more about the organization itself, respected donors (H. Stepic CEE Charity) and especially emphasized the importance of this project.
Immediately before the premiere, the author of the film, Marko Vejinović, shared his experiences with the audience during this shooting, emphasizing that he was honored that he was chosen to participate in such a large and important social endeavor.
Also, an exhibition of children's drawings was organized, entitled "Life from our perspective", which will be open to the public until October 30.
Danijela Vimić, an academic painter and expert associate within the art workshops on the basis of which this exhibition was created, said something more about the exhibition itself. On behalf of the hosts, Ljubica Tankosić, the editor of the NSDKC art program, greeted those present and thanked the organizers for the trust they had in holding their exhibition within their gallery space.
The event was held with all measures in place to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus and with a limited number of visitors in accordance with the prescribed measures.
