Sasa Jovanovic, a returnee from Germany who lives in Simanovci, Pecinci municipality, recently handed over the required equipment for construction works to EHO, as part of the support for self-employment of unemployed people within the EHO project "Support for a New Beginning".

Sasha is 40 years old and lives with his wife and three minor children. He spent a full 5 years in Germany with his family seeking asylum. He has not finished the entire primary school and has been working as a construction worker for years without a permanent job. 

The obtained tool (from mixer, chainsaw, drill, grinder, to various smaller tools and construction carts) for masonry, carpentry and reinforcement work, will allow him to develop his own business and thus, with the help of friends from the same profession, achieve higher income and better life for his family. By the end of the project, he was provided with the professional support of EHO advisors in running the business, for additional motivation and counseling.
