Strengthening partnerships for social inclusion at the local level - EHO meeting with representatives from Kragujevac and Kraljevo

Sastanak sa predstavnicima Kragujevca i Kraljeva u EHO Centru Novi Sad_septembar 2026

24. Sep 2026.

On September 22, 2026, a meeting was held with the Local Protector of Citizens of the City of Kragujevac and representatives of the team from Kraljevo in the premises of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) in Novi Sad about cooperation and opportunities for its further improvement.

We discussed the cooperation achieved within the project "Social inclusion for a dignified life of Roma and other vulnerable persons in Serbia", in which the City of Kragujevac is one of the seven partner local governments. Experiences about opportunities for continued joint work and about connecting within the framework of future project initiatives were discussed.

A particular focus was given the eventual forming of a consortium of representatives of partner cities and EHO, which could jointly respond to current and future calls for project proposals.

The meeting once again confirmed how important partnerships between different sectors and institutions are for improving social inclusion. By connecting local self-governments, institutions for the protection of citizens' rights and civil society organizations, opportunities are created for the exchange of experiences, joint action and the development of sustainable solutions for vulnerable groups in local communities.
