The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, with the financial support of the Rapid Response Fund of the ACT Alliance, and in partnership with the Charitable foundation of the Serbian Orthodox Church "Philantrophy" is implementing the project "Serbia Floods Response 2023". The project involves the distribution of multi-purpose financial aid and counseling for the preservation of public health to vulnerable categories of the population in order to mitigate the consequences of the state of emergency caused by floods in Serbia in May and June 2023 - the Moravica River in the Zlatibor District and the Zapadna Morava in the Rasina District. The planned coverage of humanitarian aid in the form of cash cards and information leaflets amounts to 1,000 direct beneficiaries. Assistance will be coordinated with crisis headquarters, centers for social work and the Red Cross in local governments affected by floods.

Implementation period: July 2023-November 2023.
