The ecumenical work of women brings together representatives of the EHO founding churches, including representatives of the Roman Catholic Church in Novi Sad. They also participate in the work and activities of the Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women (EFECW), and also in organization and realization of the World Day of Prayer, a worldwide movement of women, commemorated by worldwide annual prayer event on every first Friday in March. This year, women from 5 churches organized the World Day of Prayer on March 6th at the Greek Catholic Church of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Novi Sad. Otherwise, these services are of general ecumenical nature which are held mainly in Protestant churches in Vojvodina.
This year, a project aimed at preventing breast and cervical cancer is being implemented and within the project we shall organize a series of lectures and medical examinations for women across Vojvodina.
