RTV coverage the EHO project activities “Providing additional support in education to children from vulnerable groups in response to the COVID 19 pandemic” in Žabalj
21. Oct 2021.
Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is implementing a supplemental education support program for children from vulnerable groups during the coronavirus, with the help of tutors, for 50 pupils from the elementary school “Miloš Crnjanski” in Žabalj.
As a most adequate response to coronavirus pandemic challenges, a program to provide supplemental educational support to children from vulnerable groups is being implemented in Žabalj. Although the new situation made it difficult for children to attend classes, they showed easy overcoming of obstacles and smooth adaptation to changes.
“The most important thing is that majority of children, who used to drop out of primary education, are now much more regular and their self-confidence is remarkably higher when they know that they can get adequate support at any time”, said Snežana Lukač Ubiparip, educator from Elementary school “Miloš Crnjanski” in Žabalj.
