Mali Iđoš, Šid, Jabučje (Lajkovac), Aleksinački Rudnik (Aleksinac) i Vranje are five new local communities to host the activities of the most recent (third) cycle of the project "Support to the education of socially deprived children and youth in Serbia" from January 2022. The number of local communities covered by the project increased to 14, aiming to improve the chances and success in education of socially underprivileged children. A supervision meeting was held with selected local educational coordinators, who shall be in charge to identify and select children and youth who would be beneficiaries of the project and implement the project support to children and youth, and monitor the school system integration degree of identified children and youth.
The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is implementing this project with the financial support of the organization Brot für die Welt from Germany. Through this project we want to support the efforts of schools and local communities to achieve positive personal and social changes by investing in children’s education.
