A workshop on introduction of Supplemental support held in Smederevska Palanka was held 0n 7th December 2021 in premises of mentioned Municipality. The event was attended by representatives of the Center for Social Work, the Municipality and other local institutions. Focal points of the event were: Rulebook on additional support in education and inclusion, Protocol on cooperation between local institutions and the Report on the work, which includes monitoring the results of this service.

Supplemental educational support is important for children who have certain learning difficulties and whose education is performed under specially adapted programs. Supplemental support in education provides children with capacities to overcome physical, communication and social barriers within educational institutions and in community.

The Workshop was realized within the project "Social Inclusion of Roma and Other Vulnerable Groups in Serbia 2019-2022", supported by the HEKS / EPER of Switzerland.
