The final conference of the project "Providing Supplemental Educational Support to Children from Vulnerable Groups in Response to the Covid 19 Pandemic" was held on Wednesday, December 15,. The conference was opened by Gordana Čomić - Minister of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue and Anna Brtka Valent - Director of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization.

Participants in this project had the opportunity to present challenges they faced during the project, and present achieved results.

The project is implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Žabalj, O.Š. "Miloš Crnjanski", Žabalj, Elementary School "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj", Đurđevo, the Center for Social Work of the Municipality of Žabalj and the Office for Roma Inclusion. Supplemental educational support is an important type of support for children for whom the need for this service has been ascertained – i.e. kid with specific learning difficulties, who study under the changed educational program or some kids from the Roma community, etc.

Although the project itself is successfully completed, this type of support shall continue as an activity during the next semester in the project "Social Inclusion of Roma and Other Vulnerable Groups in Serbia 2019-2022" supported by the HEK EPER of Switzerland.
