In the last cycle of distribution of startup grants intended for economic empowerment, the tool for welder jobs was given to Besim Sharku from Bački Petrovo Selo, Arđent Kukač from Mali Iđoš and Daniel Horn from Gložan.

Thanks to the obtained tool, Besim will be able to work independently, without borrowing tools from others, which will bring him higher income. In the future, in addition to the already contracted jobs, the goal is to further develop and expand services, as well as the independent purchase of additional tools to become even more competitive in the market. Besim supports his family, wife and six children with his work. They were displaced from Kosovo and spent four years in Germany as asylum seekers. Now they have found their home in a village in Vojvodina.

Argent's ultimate goal is to provide a more favorable economic situation for his family by improving his business. He has a contracted production of wrought iron gates, and since he now has the opportunity to work with his own tools, he expects higher incomes, which he will use to economically empower his family. Argent's family of six is from Kosovo and they stayed in Germany as asylum seekers.

In addition to 12 years of experience in performing various jobs as a welder, Daniel received a tool that allows him to perform additional jobs that he was not able to do before and to improve his business.

Economic empowerment takes place within the EHO project: "Improving the socio-economic situation of the marginalized in Vojvodina through education and economic empowerment." In addition to purchasing equipment and tools for the best business ideas, the customer support package includes additional training in business plan development as well as mentoring and support. The project is implemented with the support of Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg International from Germany.
