Veljko Ferković from Kikinda and Borivoj Nikola from Ilandža were supported within the last cycle of awarding tools within the project implemented with the support of Diakonia Württemberg and Brot für die Welt from Germany.

Veljko is engaged in concreting, masonry and plastering and has about 5 years of experience in this business. Until now, he had to borrow tools so that he could work, which often reduced his earnings. With the equipment he received, he will now be able to work with his own tools and thus earn more and contribute to the economic empowerment of the family.

Borivoj has many years of experience in finishing works in construction, such as smoothing and plastering. Like Veljko, Borivoj had to borrow tools from his employer in order to be able to work. The tools and equipment he received will enable him to work independently with his tools and thus earn more. Whenever possible, he includes his son in the work in order to jointly contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of their seven-member family.

The customer support package includes training on business plan development, procurement of equipment and tools for the best business ideas and mentoring and support and is part of the project: "Improving the socio-economic situation of marginalized in Vojvodina through education and economic empowerment."
