Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHO) Announces a call for proposals for a team of trainers within the project "Humanitarian assistance and protection related interventions to People on the Move in Serbia"
The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is one of the leading civil society organizations in Serbia, which through practical activities contributes to building a just society in which differences are respected. EHO target groups are vulnerable and marginalized groups whose human rights have been violated and / or discriminated against.
The goal of the project "Support in protection and humanitarian aid for people on the move" is to contribute to reducing the vulnerability of migrants in reception, asylum and transition centers in Serbia through direct humanitarian aid and providing access to psychosocial support by organizing occupation workshops in reception centers.
Project activities include:
Distribution of cash cards in 12 reception / asylum / transit centers in Serbia
Distribution of hygiene packages in 5 reception centers (Adaševci, Principovac, Sombor, Subotica and Šid)
Occupation workshops in three reception centers (Sombor, Subotica and Sid)
Documentary filming workshops in three reception centers (Sombor, Subotica and Sid)
JOB DESCRIPTION
All activities envisaged by the project will be mainly organized with the support of volunteers from the local communities of Subotica, Shida and Sombor. At the beginning of the project, training is planned for 15 volunteers and 4 members of the EHO project team in preparation for the implementation of these activities.
Topics that need to be addressed during the training, but are not limited to the above, include the following:
Understanding the context and needs of migrants
Linguistic and cultural differences
Development of intercultural competencies
Humanitarian principles in working with the migrant population
Providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) and support to migrants in reception centers
Development of creative life skills aimed at the migrant population and specificity
Capacity building of volunteers to identify migrants in need of additional support (case management services, individual psychological support, etc.) and direct them to access these services (Center for Social Work, KIRS, IOM and all other actors intervening in protection-based services ).
In this sense, EHO hires a team of 2 professional trainers during 4 working days who will conduct:
1) Training for 15 volunteers and 4 employed members of the EHO project team of associates / tutors (youth from 19 - 27) in the period from 05 to 08 April 2022.
2) Conduct an evaluation of training participants
3) Submit a report after the training with the evaluation analysis of the training participants within 10 days of the training.
CRITERIA FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS (maximum number of points 100)
Relevance and experience in the field (10-50 points).
Offered price for providing the service (10 - 50 points)
The candidate for providing the service who, according to the evaluation of the Commission for the evaluation of received bids, receives the highest number of points, up to a maximum of 100, will be hired to provide the described service.
Schedule and time frame
Open call open util: 16.03. - 24.03.2022. until 4 p.m.
Signing of the contract and preparatory meeting: 30.03.2022.
Training duration: 05.04. - 08.04.2022.
LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE COMMISSION
CV and short biography of the trainer with references to previously provided same or similar types of services;
Financial offer for the implementation of training with a certificate of compliance with defined deadlines.

Note: submit a financial offer that includes preparation, implementation of training and reporting for 4 working days of training.
