EU Quality Label for the EHO

After a six-month analysis of the application by the European Commission, related to the standards in the work within the program of admission and guidance of volunteers from EU countries, EHO received an official certificate of compliance. Namely, in the course of 2020, an application was submitted for obtaining a certificate for the above-mentioned program within the EU Aid volunteer program. After receiving a positive response from the European Commission, in September 2021, an application was submitted to obtain a Quality Label and a certificate of compliance with the required EU standards of EHO in working with volunteers. After receiving the affirmative answer, EHO gained the opportunity to apply in the future for the programs of admission and guidance of volunteers (host program) within the Solidarity Corps funds.
This activity is part of the project "Strengthening the capacity of humanitarian organizations to receive and guide EU volunteers." The mentioned project is being realized by EHO together with MHD Merhamet Sandžak from Novi Pazar and Čovekoljublje, the Charitable Foundation of the Serbian Orthodox Church from Belgrade, under the mentorship of ADRA Slovakia (ADRA).

Funds for the implementation of project activities are provided from EU funds, within the EU Aid Volunteers program.
