The project "Field work with children at risk of being involved in life and / or work on the street" has been implemented by EHO since 2009 with the support of H. Stepic CEE Foundation. The project activities involve volunteers who provide one-on-one educational support to children from primary schools "Jožef Atila", "Vuk Karadžić" from Novi Sad and elementary school "Veljko Petrović" from Begeč, including children within the framework of the Shelter for Children and Youth Novi Sad. Such support is also given directly in substandard Novi Sad settlements through the organization of workshops.

To celebrate the above-mentioned date, performances for children were realized in the Shelter for Children and Youth Novi Sad and the Elementary School "Veljko Petrović" from Begeč. Through interactive performances, children were reminded that harmony and caring for each other contributes to a safe and happy personal develoment. For the purpose of comprehensive action, the project also includes peer educators, young people from the substandard settlements of Novi Sad, Bangladeš and Veliki Rit, aiming to provide support to young people through the organization of workshops and providing a good examples. Thus, one of the peer educators participated in the distribution of diapers in the substandard settlement of Bangladeš. The aim of these activities is to reduce the number of children and young people who see the street as a major factor in identification by supporting children and youth by the above mentioned means. The activity planned for realization in the next period, which significantly contributes to the aforementioned goal, is scheduled for mid-April and it is related to support in enrolling children in 1st grade of primary school.
