Within the project "Prevention to early detection of malignant diseases in women from rural areas of Vojvodina", which entered the second year of its implementation, a health workshop was held at Caritas, in Ruski Krstur. On Tuesday, May 31, about 15 women gathered in the premises of Caritas, who very actively participated in the workshops and had a lot of questions for Dr. Zita Belić, who held the main workshop. Among other things, the doctor drew women's attention to the fact that this time – a post-covid time is especially important in terms of prevention and regular medical examinations because the consequences of the action of this virus are still unknown and insufficiently studied. It is to be expected that this virus also contributes to the worsening and development of many other diseases and disorders. Being informed about malignant diseases, about ways of prevention and ready to ask our chosen doctors to refer us to preventive examinations to which we are (according to age) entitled, was the main message of this workshop.
