We need artistic creative workshop leaders who will design and lead workshops where they will apply their skills such as singing, playing, movement, rhythm, drawing, painting, crocheting... and together with people in motion create music, paint canvas, crochet scarves...

In support of migrants staying in the aforementioned reception centers, we organize occupation workshops using art as a methodology for psychosocial support. These activities aim to stimulate the creative process and positively influence the well-being of the individual. By opening space for creative processes and providing opportunities to create tangible works, we give a sense of connection as well as contribution and participation in society.

The methodology we use calls for creativity and participation in places where children and communities live in fear, mistrust and isolation. By sharing their skills, the workshop leaders build connections, provide relief and provide a much-needed safe space.

Art is a universal and intuitive language, which enables intercultural communication, nurtures positive awareness, curiosity and dialogue between people.

Who are the participants in the workshops?

Migrants who are staying in reception centers.

People on the move stay in reception centers from a few days to a few months or even years... so the participants in the workshops will be variable. Which means that you should have an open concept for workshops where new people can join. The approximate number of participants in one workshop is 15.
