Final conference "Reducing the additional vulnerability of Roma men and women and other marginalized groups caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 18 local self-government units"

On Tuesday, 14.06.2022 The final conference of the project "Reducing the additional vulnerability of Roma men and women and other marginalized groups caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 18 local self-government units" was held in the Palace of Serbia.
The project is implemented by the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as the legal representative of the Team for Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction, within the German Development Cooperation program GIZ "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia, together with the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue”, while project partners were the Center for Interactive Pedagogy and the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization.
At the conference, the achieved results from the components of education, information, water supply and technical support were presented.
The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, as a sub-implementation partner in one of the four intervention fields "access to water", coordinates the implementation of activities in seven local governments: Kanjiža, Alibunar, Zenjanin, Kovin, Stara Pazova, Smederevska Palanka and Valjevo, where access to clean drinking water is provided for more than 500 families and two schools.The conference was organized by the Team for Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction, the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue and GIZ.
