Within the project "Field work with children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street", the distribution of school supplies to pupils from the 1st to the 8th grade attending the mentioned elementary school and live in Bangladeš (substandard Novi Sad settlement) was realized.

Namely, as of 2016, local school administration took charge for the introduction and implementation of the educational process for children of primary school age. Thus, for the past 6 years, children from substandard settlements in Novi Sad were receiving comprehensive educational support. Important is also that transportation for children was provided, so that children can attend classes regularly.

Cooperation between Elementary School "Veljko Petrović" and EHO, in this project, started in 2020. Cooperation includes the distribution of school supplies for children, the organization of art workshops directly in the school. Children's performances are also organized twice a year for school students, while towards the end of the 1st semester, the distribution of New Year's packages is realized.
