In the reception center in Šid and Subotica, since August, they have been conducting occupation workshops that use sports as a method. The workshops are conducted within the project "Humanitarian Assistance and Protection Related Interventions to People on the Move in Serbia". During August, 6 sports workshops were held in Subotica and Šid, and over 70 migrants participated in various activities such as football, volleyball, badminton and table tennis.

Sports activities give us space to reach the migrant community and have a significant potential for social inclusion, bearing in mind the situation in which migrant communities find themselves. Sports activities contribute to health, fitness, coping with stress, improving the quality of life and coping with isolation.

The workshops are conducted by Physical Education Professor Marko Jadranski.
