Valentino Mujić received equipment for vehicle and carpet washing as assistance for self-employment

30. Sep 2022.

Valentino Mujić from Sremska Mitrovica, to whom EHO handed over equipment for washing vehicles and carpets this summer, is one of the beneficiaries of assistance for self-employment of unemployed people within the EHO project "Assistance for a New Start".

Valentino is 22 years old and lives with his parents, wife and one child in the family home. He is a returnee from Germany, where he stayed with his parents as a child. After returning to Serbia, he helped in a car wash. With that previous experience, he decided to start his own carpet and vehicle washing service business in his backyard. The obtained washing equipment will enable him to earn an income and achieve better life for himself and his family. By the end of the project, he is provided with the professional support of EHO advisors in running the business, for additional motivation and counseling.

As he himself says, it's nice that someone helps people who need it in this way. Life is easier for him now, when he has more money in his pocket.

The services provided under this project are supported, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, under the “Migration for Development” (PME) Programme.
