Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization joins celebrations of the International Day of the Older Persons, which has been its focus since our organizational inception. This year, the International Day of Older Persons focuses on older women and the theme for 2022 is "Resilience and contributions of older women".

For 18 years, our organization has been providing various types of services for about 30 people in its Club for Seniors, who meet here almost every day. Various creative workshops, counseling and lectures, laundry services, tailoring services, etc. are organized for them. As part of the cultural and entertainment activities, our in-house celebration of the International Day of the Elderly is planned for the last week of October, with a festive Reformation Day event organized alongside.

On this occasion, we think of our seniors, especially older women who come to the Club, but also of those who are no longer with us, of those who were not so resilient and who were taken away by Covid-19. We are grateful for their contribution in advice and ideas, for their experience, which has enriched our long-term work.
