On Saturday, October 22, the last sports workshop of this year was held, within the project "Field work with children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street".

In the previous period, children and young people had the opportunity, every Saturday during September and October, to direct their free time, in the morning hours, towards recreation and socializing. The goal of the organized workshops is to reduce the time the target group spends on the street. After the successful completion of the last workshop, all participants were rewarded for their regular attendance and contribution. In addition to certificates of appreciation, the participants also received sneakers as a reward.

Sports activities are carried out in cooperation with the professional association of the police "Dr. Rudolf Arčibald Rajs" with the aim of providing support to children and young people in the organization of free time. Volunteers engaged in the project as well as peer educators from the Novi Sad substandard settlement Veliki Rit participated in the organization and implementation of the activities.

The project "Field work with children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the H. Stepic Foundation from Vienna.
