A Visitation of the EHO team to Württemberg, Germany

At the end of October 2022, and in the organization of Diakonie Württemberg (DW), EHO representatives led by director Anna Brtka Valent had meetings with several partner organizations in Germany. On that occasion, a meeting was organized in Stuttgart with the director of Diakonia Württemberg, Prof. dr. Annette Noller and stakeholders in the Church Council of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg, where they discussed the past cooperation between DW and EHO, the social impact of EHO's work in the last 15 years, as well as lessons learned and future cooperation.
After that, EHO representatives participated as honored guests in the public event "Roma and Sinti in Germany and Roma in Serbia" in Ulm, at the Center for Adult Education, where they presented EHO projects aimed at Roma in Serbia, the Association of German Sinti and Roma presented an exhibition entitled "Typical "Gypsies? - Myth and Reality".
As part of this visit, the EHO team had a meeting in Ravensburg with a representative of Diakonia on the subject of work with migrants, as well as with a Roma organization that presented us with their research on Roma victims of the Holocaust in World War II.
The joint days in Stuttgart, Ulm and Ravensburg enabled us to deepen our cooperation and jointly plan a response to the challenges ahead.
