Zoran Stanimirović from Zasavica, Sremska Mitrovica, received construction assistance from EHO this summer to repair his house, within the EHO project " Assistance for a New Start ".

Zoran is 46 years old and lives with his wife and two sons and minor daughter in his family house. He mainly does seasonal field work for wages. He is a returnee from Germany, where he stayed with his family for 13 months. Zoran found out from a friend that he could get help for house repairs from EHO as a returnee. That's why he applied to the EHO public call and the Commission awarded him construction assistance for his house. From the obtained construction material, Zoran, with the support of EHO engineers, changed the carpentry, installed new warmer floors and made a demit facade on the house.

His elder son, Daniel, also applied and received EHO self-employment assistance in the form of yard gardening tools.

As Zoran says, any help is welcome, and the one he received from EHO really means a lot to him. He just wants his children to be well, because he has wonderful children.
