Who are the returnees, why are they returning to the Republic of Serbia, what conditions are they currently living in, what challenges are faced by both adults and child returnees, what forms of support does it provide and what activities does EHO implement, in the show "Danube Afternoon" which was broadcast on 1. was broadcast live on Dunav Television in March 2023, our project coordinator, Tijana Čeliković, spoke.

The show deals with current social, political and economic topics.

During the show, Tijana spoke about the activities of the "Service Center - Starting point" and "Additional educational support for returnee children" projects implemented by EHO as part of the project "Strengthening national and local systems to support the effective socio-economic integration of returnees in the Western Balkans" funded by the European Union union, and implements the United Nations Development Program.

The Service Center - The starting point was opened on December 15, 2023 within the Local Community of Vidovdansko naselje, which is located at Dr. Jovana Andrejevića 2, Novi Sad, and in the center itself, returnees returned under the Readmission Agreement can receive information about available services at the local level and beyond, to be referred to specific institutions and organizations of civil society, to receive support when obtaining documents (general information, copying, scanning...), and returnee children can be part of educational-inclusive workshops and workshops of additional basic support.
