On the occasion of World Health Day, which is celebrated every year on April 7. through the project "Empowerment of refugee women and children", an educational and creative workshop was held in the Sombor Reception Center.

After an educational discussion about healthy eating as a way of life, the participants were introduced to the food pyramid and learned what it entails and how it works. In the creative part, a food pyramid was created, and the participants had the opportunity to become more familiar with the groups of foods that the pyramid includes, as well as the predicted amount of intake of different foods.

The project "Empowering Refugee Women and Children" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
