Zorica Jovanović received equipment for manicure
13. May 2023.
In April 2023, Zorica Jovanović received EHO assistance for self-employment in the form of various manicure equipment.
In 2014, Zorica went to Germany with her family and they sought asylum there. After 10 months, when they were rejected for asylum, they returned to Serbia.
Zorica is now 41 years old and lives in family house with her husband and three children. They live from occasional seasonal agricultural works.
As she says, the help she received means a lot to her. She plans to do cosmetics and manicures as a home service, in order to earn money and improve her family's financial situation.
The assistance she received is intended for self-employment of returnees from Germany and other Western European countries, within the project "Assistance for a New Start".
The services EHO provided are supported, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, under the “Migration for Development” (PME) Programme.
