Since last year, educational support for children who come from families of lower socioeconomic status has also been implemented in the primary school "Adi Endre" in Mali Iđoš.

These schools, of which there are 14 in total, are part of the project "Support for the education of socially deprived children and youth in Serbia", which the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is implementing with the financial support of the German organization Brot für die Welt.

The goal of the project is to improve the chances and success in education of socially disadvantaged children and those who belong to particularly vulnerable categories such as members of the Roma minority or children with disabilities and/or developmental disabilities.

During the visit to the school, the project team spoke with the school director, teaching staff and professional associates responsible for the implementation of certain project activities and a local associate. Project activities were monitored and experiences and lessons learned were shared.
