The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, for the past 3 years, has been implementing professional practice for students of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, majoring in Social Work. The Professional Practice is consisted of the implementation of 5 organized activities through which students get the opportunity to know the specifics of working with marginalized groups. This year's practice was realized within the EHO project "Support for children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street". The activities were organized to include a visit to Elementary School "Veljko Petrović" in Begeč, where students participated in the implementation of art workshops on the topic of artistic representation of the school mascot and writing messages for children who are placed in reception centers in the Republic of Serbia. Also, a visit to the Novi Sad settlements Bangladeš and Veliki Rit was organized. Students took part in the implementation of the Sports Activities workshop in which children and young people from Veliki Rit participate. In further work, a visit to the Shelter for Children and Youth in Novi Sad was also carried out. As a final activity, a professional training session on communication skills was organized.

For the 13th year, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is implementing the project "Support for children at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street", with the support of the H. Stepic Foundation from Vienna. An important component of the project is the preparation of students, future professionals for their practical activities within the chosen professions.
