Through the four-year project "Social inclusion of Roma and other vulnerable groups in Serbia 2019-2022", the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization improved the development of interculturality in the education system.

In the period from 2019-2022, fourteen trainings were organized, which included teaching staff from eleven local governments. Two hundred and seventy-four people from twenty-five primary and secondary schools participated in these trainings.

After the training, the teaching staff applied practical knowledge and skills in practice. With the support of the EHO team, schools implemented small school projects that promoted interculturality, tolerance, solidarity and non-discrimination. All small school projects are combined in a catalog that aims to present examples of good practice in working with children from vulnerable groups.

Every child has the right to a quality education, therefore the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization continues to strive to contribute to the creation of a better environment where diversity is appreciated, respected and considered an asset through its programs and projects.
