In the Reception Center in Sombor, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, in cooperation with the Association of Policemen and Citizens "Safe Community", the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the B13 dance group, organized various educational and musical workshops to mark World Music Day, which is celebrated every year on the 21st. June.

Through educational workshops, the users of the center learned something more about musical instruments, but also highlighted the feeling that music evokes in them. They discussed traditional Arabic music, as well as how music affects them. The educational workshop was followed by the performance of the dance group B13, who, with their musical and dancing talent and cheerful choreography, attracted the greatest attention of users in the center.

This was followed by a traditional Syrian-Lebanese dance called "Depka", which was demonstrated by the users of the center. In the end, the members of the B13 group and the users from the center danced together, exchanged dance choreographies and created a wonderful, cheerful atmosphere that everyone present enjoyed.

The project "Empowerment of Refugee Women and Children" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
