The first workshop "Journalists in the world of discrimination and antigypsyism" successfully held in Novi Sad

The first workshop organized by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization on the topic "Journalists in the world of discrimination and anti-Gypsies in Serbia" was held on June 29 and 30 in Novi Sad at the premises of EHO.
The workshop was implemented within the project "Social inclusion for a dignified life of Roma and other vulnerable groups in Serbia 2023-2026". The project is supported by the HEKS/EPER, and implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization Novi Sad in partnership with 7 municipalities in Serbia.
Attending journalists and media workers were able to listen to highly respected presenters from the law, politics and media industry. They discussed the importance of proper representation of Roma in the media and how to prevent discriminatory reporting by journalists.
The workshop was attended by journalists from the Roma newsroom of RTS, Radio Beograd, Radio Television of Vojvodina, Kopernikus Raška TV, Niš Correspondence Office, Roma Media Service, Stara Čaršija Radio from Ćuprija and the Telegraf newsroom.
