The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia, the International Organization for Migration and the Association of Policemen and Citizens "Safe Community", organized two activities at the Reception Center in Sombor. The persons who are accommodated in the aforementioned Center had the opportunity to be part of sports and creative activities.

As part of the sports part, friendly matches were organized, through which the importance of fair play was highlighted, while in the creative corner the participants had the opportunity to express their modeling and painting skills on canvas.

The aforementioned activities were carried out through the project "Empowerment of refugee women and children", where a message of welcome was sent to those who reached the Republic of Serbia on their migration journey. The participants had the opportunity to socialize, express their creativity and recreate themselves with the chosen sport.

The project "Empowerment of refugee women and children" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
