The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization shall organize a tailoring and sewing course at the Day Center for People with Disabilities, Ćirila i Metodija Street 21, Novi Sad / Serbia.

The curriculum is consisted of the hand-on training in basic and medium-complex tailoring and sewing skills. 

The course is free of charge and shall last about 3 months (one to two times a week) startinf from the end of August. Approximately 60 hours of theoretical and practical training are planned.  

During selection, preference will be given to those persons from marginalized groups or more difficult employable persons: 

1. persons with disabilities or mental disorders

2. persons without disabilities who belong to less employable categories, such as Romani men and women, women victims of violence, persons from multi-member families, women 40+ years old

3. Unemployed persons and persons with low incomes

4. Other interested and motivated persons

Classes are taught by a qualified and very experienced instructor, and after completing the course, participants receive a certificate of attendance.

The training is based exclusively on practical work and prepares participants for work in tailoring salons.
