In the Reception Center in Šid, during July and August, associates of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, engaged in the project "Empowerment of refugee women and children", as a form of support and care for the beneficiaries, distributed 60 pairs of sneakers to the people staying in this camp.

In addition to the distribution of sneakers, various activities are carried out every day in the reception center of Šid station. In this way, the way was made easier for those who were forced to leave their homes due to wars, fear of persecution and violence.

The project "Empowerment of Refugee Women and Children" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
