New info session for migrants held

In the continuation of the info sessions organized by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), with the support of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHONS) and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (KIRS), persons placed in the PC in Sombor had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the risks which they can face on the way of migration, as well as phone numbers they can contact for help and support. People from Morocco, Yemen and Syria participated in this week's session. In addition to the above, the representatives of KIRS and IOM familiarized the persons with their rights but also with the functioning and rules of the Center itself, while the EHO educator Dragana Drljević presented the project "Empowerment of Refugee Women and Children" which the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization through various creative, sports,
Educators of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, as part of the above-mentioned project, organize daily activities for people housed in the Reception Centers in Šid and Sombor. The project is supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA USA).
