The reception center in Sombor continued with the organization of art workshops, which are held every month on different topics, in the conceptual realization of our art associate Danijela Vimić. The workshop was held with the support of EHO educator Dragana Drljević, representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (KIRS).

The aim of the mentioned activities is to involve people who temporarily stay in the Center, in order to express their creativity and talents. Their works will further be exhibited during the organization of events through which EHO contributes to the creation of equal opportunities and an inclusive environment. Within the aforementioned workshop, the participants had the opportunity to paint pots, in the spirit of different motifs. At the same time, the activity also represents the announcement of the next one planned for October, when the action of planting trees and other plant crops will be organized in the same Reception Center.

The mentioned activities are part of the project "Empowerment of refugee women and children", supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church America from Chicago.
