Supported by "ACT Alliance" and in cooperation with the charitable foundation of the Serbian Orthodox Church "Philantrophy" EHO distributed financial donations in the equivalent value of about 3 million dinars to 134 families in Požega/Serbia to users whose households in the same municipality suffered material damage during the floods in June this year.

Our distribution in Požega was realized in coordination with the relevant professional offices of the Municipality of Požega, and took place on September 26, 2023 The donation was in the form of 134 cash cards, i.e. DINACARD gift cards of Poštanska Štedionica AD Bank, with approximate value in Dinars of around 190 euros. Our users of this assistance shall be able to pay for necessary items and services for (at least partial) recovery from the consequences of the flood.

On the previous day, the completion and monitoring of the distribution of cash cards from the same donation was organized in the Trstenik Municipality.

Altogether value of the distributed ACT alliance donation to the end users in Trstenik and Požega was about 6.5 million dinars. During the distribution of the cards, in accordance with the donor's instructions, each user received a copy of the appropriate instruction "Eight steps to preserve health during floods" (authors: Institute for Public Health of Serbia "Dr. Milan Jovanović Batut").
