The celebration was attended by representatives of EHO - director Anna Brtka Valent and associate Katalin Borbaš.

The celebration was opened by the director of Diakonie Württemberg, Dr. Annette Noller when she pointed out that the task of Christians is to oppose injustice and to treat each other in a humane way.

As part of the celebration, prizes were awarded to the winners of the "Exploring Eastern Europe" competition for journalists.
