In mid-December, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization supported Mirjana Nikolić from Tovariševo. She lives in a community with her parents and brother and is engaged in grooming business. She is currently undergoing training at a grooming salon in order to gain knowledge and skills in dog grooming. Mirjana started to take an interest in this business about a year ago, driven by her long-term love for the dog-breeding with her parents. Groomer services are in high demand and well paid, and there are only three groomers in her area.

The EHO support action is part of the project "Education and Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Groups", and is implemented with the support of Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg / Hoffnung für Osteuropa from Germany.

The support consists of training for creating a business plan, a grant for the purchase of tools and equipment, and mentoring support.
