Within the of the EHO project "Empowerment of women and children of refugees" in the Reception Center in Šid, a New Year's play was played recently and gift packs were distributed to children staying in the center.

The children from the Reception Center were animated by the actors of the Amateur Theater "Branislav Nušić" from Šid and on that occasion performed the play "The Princess and the Frog". The performance was followed by a holiday party - distribution of packages, photo shoot, dancing with the actors and Santa Claus.

During the previous weeks, EHO's professional associates organized workshops for children staying in reception centers, made New Year's decorations together with the children and, with games and songs, looked forward to the upcoming holidays.

The project "Empowerment of Migrant Women and Children" was supported by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and implemented with the help and support of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (KIRS).
