Support to employment of marginalized groups - a new call for applicants

All interested parties, members of marginalized groups from the municipalities of Vojvodina, interested to register their revenue activity, are invited to apply for the allocation of grants for economic empowerment through the e-mail prijava@ehons.org or telephone number: +38169707960. The call is open until 19th February 2024.

Grants will be awarded for the purchase of new machines/tools/equipment, in the amount of up to 3,000 euros, in dinar equivalent, needed to start or improve one's own business.

In addition, users will be provided with support for company registration and payment of bookkeeping services for 6 months, including consultant support throughout the duration of the project.

In order to apply for the mentioned support, applicants are required to fit into one or more of the following criteria: belong to marginalized groups, to have a place of residence in the territory of the municipalities of Vojvodina, to be unemployed, to have a low family income, to have not been supported by similar projects so far, to have a good and sustainable business idea and some experience in performing the planned work.

One of the prerequisites is attendance at trainings aimed at strengthening capacity and increasing entrepreneurial awareness, which will be organized at the EHO center in Novi Sad, at the end of February 2024.

The ranking of candidates will be based on the fulfillment of the specified criteria and the evaluation of the success of the business idea.

The three-year project "Education and economic empowerment of marginalized groups" is implemented by the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization with the support of Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg/Hoffnung für Osteuropa from Germany.
