In the heart of the substandard settlement of Veliki Rit, Toni Baftijari, an internally displaced person and a returnee from Germany, begins again his journey towards building a better future for himself and his family.

His story and search for a better life is reflected by the extraordinary determination and strength of spirit that ultimately led him to the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, which provided him with support and a key tools required to improve his own business.

After returning from Germany, Toni is faced with the challenges of adapting to a new life in Veliki Rit. However, his persistence and faith in a better future are unquestionable. Through the "Education and Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Groups" project, Toni got the opportunity to provide himself with a stable source of income and to write a new chapter in his life story doing what he loves, which is the job of a hairdresser.

Tony's story is a symbol of strength, but also of the opportunities that are available to every individual who has the courage to dream and work to make their dreams come true.

The project "Education and economic empowerment of marginalized groups" is implemented with the support of Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg / Hoffnung für Osteuropa from Germany. The user support package includes training on creating a business plan, procurement of equipment and tools for the best business ideas, and mentorship and support.
