Gordana Nikolić from Rumenka opened her dream-come-true hairdressing shop
18. Jul 2024.
As part of the project "Education and Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Groups", which is implemented with the support of Brot für die Welt and Diakonie Württemberg / Hoffnung für Osteuropa from Germany, the EHO team successfully helped with the registration of the salon, and then procured tools and equipment for Gordana.
Gordana Nikolić, a hard-working entrepreneur from Rumenka/Serbia, recently opened her hairdressing and beauty salon. Thanks to the project, Gordana received a high-quality professional hairdressing tool. This equipment allowed her not only to improve the services she provides to her clients, but also to significantly increase her workload.
The project provides a comprehensive support package that includes training on creating a business plan, procurement of the necessary equipment and tools for the best business ideas, as well as continuous mentoring and support. The goal of the project is to economically empower marginalized groups, improve their financial situation and provide them with a more stable future through education and providing concrete means for work.
The opening of Gordana Nikolić's salon is another example of how support and the right tools can transform the lives of individuals, giving them the opportunity to realize their business dreams.
