The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization is a non-governmental organization based in Novi Sad, which implements numerous projects aimed at supporting marginalized groups. Through many years of work, EHO has implemented and continues to implement projects that provide assistance to the most vulnerable.

The project "Support for children who are at risk of being involved in life and/or work on the street" has been implemented by EHO since 2009 with the support of the H. Stepic Foundation from Vienna. You can read additional information about the project here, in Serbian.

We are currently looking for volunteers for the following positions:

•  Volunteer to support children in learning (More information is Serbian)
•  Field Support Volunteer (More information in Serbian)

EHO gives you the opportunity to:

•  Become a part of a long-term volunteer program lasting at least 3 months.
•  Participate in the project in accordance with the Law on Volunteering ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 36/2010), including signing the Agreement on Volunteering.
•  Work with children of primary school age, providing them with support in learning and daily activities.
•  Participate in activities in substandard settlements on the territory of the city of Novi Sad.
•  Receive further professional training and education.

Volunteers are expected to show:

•  Willingness and motivation for active participation in the volunteer program for at least 3 months;
•  Respect for the principles of volunteerism and a responsible approach to working with children and young people.

Support to volunteers:

•  The project coordinator and supervisor will provide you with professional support during your volunteer engagement.
