The Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization, in cooperation with the Diakonia Baden from Germany, organized a qualification seminar in Novi Sad for German language teachers, professors and court interpreters, with the aim of providing information on the legal possibilities of migration to Germany. The seminar, held from October 25 to 27, 2024 in the Novi Sad hotel, gathered a total of 44 participants.

As part of the "Ready and Successful in Germany" project, the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization as a partner organized a seminar to provide German language teachers and court interpreters with information about the legal possibilities of migration to Germany and the roles of this project. Through the seminar program, the participants were introduced to various possibilities of migration and the ways in which the project supports interested persons in the process of legal departure and integration into German society.

The "Ready and Successful in Germany" project, funded by the European Union and Germany, offers counseling to people who have already immigrated to Germany or are in the process of planning their migration. In addition to Germany, counseling is carried out in 13 other countries with the support of over 30 counselors.

During the seminar, participants learned about legal migration paths, such as employment through qualified professional training or specialization. The seminar emphasized that good knowledge of the German language is a key element of successful integration into German society and stable long-term employment. Instead of using short-term solutions like the "Western Balkan regulation", the project encourages safe and sustainable migration options, such as vocational training and employment as professionals, thus avoiding unsafe working conditions.
